Sony Annouces Release of PSP-3000

Sony announces the official release for the PSP-3000. The unit will look similar to the old PSP model but will have a new glare-proof and brighter screen (contrast ratio, response time, and wider color gamut) as well as an integrated "built-in" microphone. The 3000 will be available in Europe on October 15th for €199.

50 Cent New Video Game "Blood in the Sand"

This time it's not an elephant but "Blood In The Sand", which is the new video game in development and set for an upcoming summer release as an advanced sequel to 50 Cent's multi million selling 2005 game, "Bulletproof." According to the Vivendi Games producer, Aaron Blean "Blood In The Sand" will have an advanced style of play, scenic choices, conveniently placed Vitamin Water placements, vehicle missions including driver-and-turret-gunner Humvee road chases, helicopter shootouts and other additions that were specifically borne from both 50's and Tony Yayo creative direction.

When 50 was onsite at Vivendi with Tony Yayo, one of the things they challenged us to do was introduce new elements of gameplay in the game," Blean states in an MTV interview. "Instead of having them always running and gunning, they wanted something that would break the pace of that." The game will also feature exclusive G-Unit tracks and other bonus music features.

Marc Ecko Entertainment x Showtime

Marc Ecko Entertainment has inked a deal with Showtime to give you a video game adaptation of Dexter. No firm release date has been set but Marc Fernandez, Vice President of Ecko Entertainment confirmed that the game will follow a third-person action adventure format with the show’s eponymous main character, Dexter Morgan, as the playable character (If you don’t watch the show Dexter is a forensic expert in the Miami police department who preys on the criminals that manage to squeak past the justice system).
