Motown Mama : Lindsay Lohan New Label

Although still under the Universal Music Group umbrella, famed actress and Hollywood bad-girl Lindsay Lohan has moved from Tommy Mottola's struggling Casablanca Records and found a new recording home in UMG subsidiary Motown Records. The actress will most likely be taking the sound to the streets and has some big name producers slated for the album including hit-makers, Timbaland and Pharrell Williams as well as an a track already in the can with Snoop Dogg.

Obama Goes Left on Pastor Wright

Looks like Senator Barack Obama knows when to turns his back on the black church and his former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. Yesterday the presidential hopeful stated that he is both "outraged" and "appalled" at Wright's comments made one day earlier in which it was implied that Obama was politically posturing for the sake of his election, Minister Farrakhan was one of the great voices of our time, the U.S. government has played an illicit part in the global AIDS crisis, and that the attack on Wright himself was an equal attack on the black church by the media.

At this point Sen. Obama ia no longer attempting to distance himself from Wright but is now on the offensive; Barack has now chosen an oppositional stance verbally blasting the pastor as a treasonous citizen of the US who has endorsed terrorism, slandered Obama, and overplayed the race card.

FTP: Unjust Acquittal of Sean Bell's Murderers-Pigs Get Off Again

The badged murderers who killed Sean Bell have been acquitted of all charges allowing the heinous crime and civil atrocity to go unpunished. In this case, the Murderers, once again are police (Det. Michal Oliver, Det. Marc Cooper, Det. Isnora Gescard); "new york's finest" who launched over 50 deadly shots at Bell and his friends in honor of the police state they protect and serve. It is now clear that the melting pot and "greatest city" in the world has no respect and value for the life of young black males. The trial and judicial ruling is in a systematic accord with the other public but court vindicated lynchings of unarmed black men including Amadou Diallo (41 shots), Patrick Dorismond, Timothy Stansbury, Fermin Arzu, and Malcolm Ferguson.

The clearly racist and equally guilty Queens Supreme Court Justice, Arthur Cooperman attempted to justify his bigotry and unjust decision with the following statement,“The defendants are not guilty of all charges. The burden was on the people to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Each defendant was assumed to be innocent.” Cooperman said justification was used as a defense, he had to consider the “mindset of the defendants, not the victims. What the victims did, was more important to resolve the issues at hand than what was in their minds.”

Prisoner #57 : Wesley Snipes Sentenced to 3 Years in Feds

Wesley Snipes was sentenced to 3 years in federal jail; the maximum sentence allowed. Before the sentencing Snipes apologized for his actions and implied he was tricked into the tax evasion plans by "jackals."  Earlier during the trial he insisted that systematic racism was at the center of the media demonization and legal witch hunt that had created his image as a culprit since he was a black man. Snipes was not placed in immediate police custody after sentencing but will be able to turn himself in within the near future and will be placed in a federal penitentiary near his New Jersey home.

Sony Puts Omarion in the Icebox

23 year old singer-dancer, Omarion was recently dropped from his parent label Sony BMG Records. As a former member of the "touched" B2K boy band, Omarion enjoyed a strong history on the Sony label and its previous affiliate Columbia Records. However, most likely due to a non-platinum solo recording streak and the crooner has been cast to the wayside by the wake of new youth sensations like Chris Brown and Soulja Boy.
